a post about pancakes

There is a pancake place near where i live and it is AMAZING, better than ihop and it's a special treat every time we can go. As you may know I am an awkward person, but that's okay because I accept myself and it's pretty dang hilarious. one day I got out of class and my mom, like every mom, asked me how it went. I'm no lying teenager so I told her the truth, "ahhh! I'm so awkward!" next thing I knew we were pulling up to my favorite breakfast place and I was telling/showing the tales of my awkwardness. Today was one of those days so...

here is a coconut syrup (my favorite kind) recipe:

14 oz Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
PREP: In a pot, heat all ingredients and whisk continuously over med/low heat for 8-10 mins.

and to make your awkward pancake day even more special I thought to add some pictures of *drum roll* PANCAKES!

Silly Mr potato head, berries don't go on your head

want some coconut syrup to go with that pineapple? *licks lips*

accept your awkwardness you little sun...beam?...ray?..

complete with a banana nose?! I almost don't want to eat you, almost.

achievable:
this little piggy went all the way...to my tummy!

Church went Great today

I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, that means every Sunday I go to church for three hours. I love the Gospel and attending church. Here's a story of what happened today.

In Sunday School we were learning more about the creation, we talked about how in the world people mostly think that the world kind of just "happened" (aka the big bang theory). Did you know
21% of Americans believe that "human beings evolved from less advanced life forms over millions of years, and God did not directly guide this process,"  but we believe that God's hand is in all things since he created everything.

  • so anyway the funny part of the story is that we were all learning and being spiritual and I compared this, like everything, to disney.

teacher: so you all see that God has made this beautiful world and we are his children?

class: *nods*

Anna: *with realization on my face* "like the lion king!"

class: *stares*

friend: Yeah! the circle of life!

class: *nods happily*

Spiritual Saturday

Product review

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub
I absolutely adore this product and am now on my third bottle! I am sensitive to acne and have combo skin and this helps in all my problem areas.

Price: I found mine at Walgreen's for $3.79

How I Use: When I shower I apply this to my face, neck, and back

Pros: Is amazing at exfoliating, prevents and helps blackhead, pure ingredients, great for oily and dry skin...

Cons: if you have such sensitive skin that you don't often exfoliate this is not for you, i do not use this product alone to treat my acne so this is not a one-and-only product

Never Never Land
